Was run off the road today

While out doing some errands at lunch time I had a pick-up truck run me off the road. I was north bound in the right lane on a 4 lane divided road, pick up truck was in the left lane. As I was starting to over take the pick up, he just moved into my lane and pushed me into the shoulder area of the road. I did not fall or anything, I maintained good control on the shoulder and through some grass, got behind the pick up. At the next red light I was in the right turn lane next to the pick up, and the driver just looked over and smiles and lipped a nice four letter word to me. It took a bit of self control, not to go over and hit him. This guy just didn't give a crap that he ran me off the road, he knew it, I saw him watching me in his mirror as I went to the shoulder.

Good job of maintaining control. Of the bike and your temper. You win. Your bike's not scratched up and you're not in the hospital or jail.

Unreal. Just reassures me that I'm correct in thinking a lot of these close encounters aren't exactly accidents. I seriously believe a lot of people are interested in teaching motorcycle riders a lesson. Especially people who had wrecks with motorcycles and were found at fault. They really want all of us riders to pay.
