how to make a sheepskin cover

Been looking at various sites and a sheepskin cover premade is kinda pricey...
anyone ever made there own?

I'm seeing some pelts on E-bay $20 less shipping.
Need ideas or pics on how a seat cover is attatched...

Any help would further the Comfort cause.
Thanks

I have the small one. I paid 20 bucks at a rally. Money well spent, I see they are 25 bucks now.

To make your own (I did on my KLR) just go to Walmart and buy some light cord and brass grommets in the fabric section.

Flip a section of dead sheep over and figure out how big a pc. you want, and allow for skin to cover the entire area you want covered. Mark it on the back side of the skin with a marker and cut out what you want.

Then use the grommets and put them about 3/4" from the corners (or maybe a bit more) and then tie the cord off on on side, and mount the cover on your seat and figure out how much cord you need to go across the underside of the seat pan.

Instead of cord, you can use light bungie cord, also available in most clothing departments.

Buy the pliers for the grommets and make some covers for friends or to sell to pay of $10 investment.
