Anyone know if there is a hotter cam available for the KLR?

I took a look into it, and I did not find anything. Not to say that there isn't one.

Good luck,

Sweet link.... But I bet you would get more power with a 685 kit or even better go with the BIG 705 kit. Waiting for my KLR engine to give up the ghost so I can do one of them, but dang, at this rate I'll be using a wheel chair to get around before the motor wears out...

Previous ride was a 2007 KLR Black/Silver, I miss it..
Looking to get back into KLR's sometime soon.

Thanks MB4, just what I was looking for. I had thought of the bigger bore kit, and its not something I have ruled out. I was just wondering about an after market cam for the KLR, I put cams in my 883 Sportster and it made a noticable difference.

I would have thanked you earlier, but I've been busy playing with my new (to me) toy, a 1987 Honda CR125, upgraded to 200cc's. It is wicked fast , I had almost forgotten how much fun the power bands in the 2 strokes are.
