Well I got the cage hwy kit in from TMI today that has been on Back order. I got it at about 11:45 and had it on by 14:00. Not to bad of a job except that it came with NO INSTRUCTIONS
I tried to call the good folks, but the were closed today. Ahh well I'm at work, nothing to do...I can figure this out...
All went good untill The pieces that had to go around the frame inside the schroud and around the vicinity of radiator. Kind of a tight fit and I needed 4 hands and another set of eyes.. I suggest to anyone else 100MPH tape up the shrouds first. I did and it saved some scratches for sure. Also had to unplug the connection on the left side of the bike to let the middle support thru. With no instructions we had to assemble and dissassemble the middle pice 3 times till we figured out the proper way that it went together.
BUT, all prevailed and we got it. Looks good seems very solid, welds are pretty clean. I think it's agood addition to the bike. Now I'm awaiting the skid plat that is still on back order.
The folks at TMI were very friendy to work with and also hooked up ol' sarge with a military discount Very cool!! I'll be doing business with them again soon.
