Scuff marks...

Sorry everybody, this is not about my KLR. I hope that's OK. I have a white Kymco scooter that I'm selling and it has some boot scuff marks, etc on the plastic. I scrubbed the hell out of it. Anyone know anything that will take the scuffs off?

Thanks,

LKJW

Also give WD40 a shot.. As Bigiron said, let it soak to soften..

I've watched guys in airports take boot scuffs off the floors with a tennis ball on a stick.. Just a thought.. The tennis ball fuzz lifts the scuff right off the floors..

Thanks all. Simple green. My Dad was in the Navy, and I think my Mom probably used more simple green than the entire armed forces combined. Good suggestion. As are the others. My wife suggested a pencil eraser. The tennis ball makes good sense. Anyway, my wife went to safeway and I asked her to get some simple green and then got bored and tried with a 'Mr Clean Magic Eraser' sponge. Did the trick. Although I'm sure the other's would have worked, too. And now we have some Simple Green on hand which would make my Mom very happy.
