I Wonder Why ?

I was just over on the .net site, I can still read all that I want. Glenn just won't let me post anything. But that is not my WHY?

I just saw an advertisement for an "unusual little item", not normally used on a KLR.

I wonder what purpose the advertiser has in mind for this part.

The link worked during 'preview', but not just now.
I will try again!

Well that just 'ticks me Off'.
Now the link won't work from preview posting!

Maybe somebody else has spotted what I saw advertised over there? Maybe the Eaton Weatherhead C3169X1 advertisement can show up if I link to the thread that I was reading?

Nope!!! Now I see Canon Cameras.
Maybe some of you guys have already guessed what I saw?
Or saw it yourselves.

You can stop saying I don't have a clue 'cause I read your post and searched " Eaton Weatherhead C3169X1". There! A clue.

Seems to be a 1/16" NPT plug. That's small.

None on my KLR that I know of.

No Cannon Cameras on my KLR either. "Smile. You're on Cannon Camera!"

Ok, I'll play this as a game.
Mine is made of Brass. Easier to drill.
