just got the klr home...

just picked up my new 02 klr 650.... some of the things i want to do before the snow melt is a Studebaker Rx-14 muffler and dyno jet stage 1 kit. engine guard with foot pegs, radiator guards, aluminum skid plate,. doohickey upgrade, lowering links, upgraded light bulbs and saddle bags. for now..... my wife is so gunna hate me

Nice bike! They're a joy to both ride and work on...should bring you many miles of smiles. And it looks like you have a great list of the essential mods/upgrades, though I would add hand guards as well. I guess now your wife's gonna hate me too.

By the way, what kind of front brake rotor is that...can't seem to make it out, is that stock?

yeah i have a set of elephant ears that came with the bike, ill have to check on the rotor....

Nice bike It look's like you enjoy all kind's of bikes. just get a small hide-a-bed to put in the shop for good measure. haha When I did my exhaust and carb. it is a completely different bike now. you will be real happy. good luck.
