Thumbs up first ride on the klr

So the weather man said today was supposed to be 60 degrees with chance of rain... well he was half right...it rained, I suited up with a rain suit and took the klr out for a cold but fun first ride.. definitely a fun bike, I would like to put a pipe on it and jet it for a little more power, probably do the airbox mod, definitely needs better tires for off-road, I liked how it rides overall though really fun bike to ride, with all the snow melt in the past couple of days there were quite a few water crossing in the road (one that was so deep it shot water up my rain pants and soaked my jeans up to my knees). I took it down a seasonal road, played with wheelies, overall I got soaked and it turned cold but it was a fun 75 mile ride in February which is unheard of in buffalo

Awesome, I agree with you the KLR is a fun bike. You need heated grip's for weather like that.

Congrats on getting out. I am only a couple hundred kms away, and I haven't even started mine yet! Maybe this weekend. The snow is going fast, but it is supposed to get cold again!
