Turn KLR-A to Tengai

Hi. Is there any aftermarket tengai fairing adapted to a KLR first gen 07?

Dunno but I'd love one on my Gen 2.
That would confuse everyone, even KLR-istas.

The Tengai tank has welded/treaded tabs to mount the fairing. It's otherwise almost the same. I had purchased a Tengai tank for my KLR back in the 90's and thought I could make it work, but couldn't. I think it was missing some of the radiator shroud mounts too.

The frames are slightly different, but I think it's the rear part of the frame.

I still to this day kick my self for not buying a few that I looked at over the years. I still search for them on Craigslist.

There was a nice one last year here in Alberta. They still have Cool Factor. A RTW rider on ADV has one he has owned for many years in Australia. He rode it for a bit while he was in Aus this summer. Beautiful original paint with Zebra pattern home made panniers!
