Smile Getting ready to buy my first KLR!

I just sold my sports bike (GSXR750) and I'm now looking at buying a used KLR. On the Montreal (Quebec, Canada) market, there is a lot of used bikes : 1998 to 2006. Millage from 7,500 to 12,000.

Is there any specific year that I should avoid or preferred?

Color wise, any preferred colors for used parts and sun discoloration? (Kaki, blue, red and green Kawasaki are available).

I will keep this port updated with what I find on the market and my final decision. After riding a bike, the most exciting part is to shop for it!

Thanks for your comment and recommendation!

The OD Green bikes are the fastest but the color fades, but then again most do.. Most of the 98-99 green/blueish bikes retain color well.

As far as good or bad years, they're the same..

Good luck!!
