I Just Gott's To Know ? ?

By the way that is what the bank robber said in the original Dirty Harry movie when Harry did the, 'Did I fire five or six' line............... remember?

Anyway, here's the question; Why does everyone cover their license plates when they post photos of the bikes?

Ard...I have been wondering that forever. I've even done it, and never known why. So.....?

It's done out of a concern for privacy - people like to protect their identity on the internet.

I guess folks think that putting your license number out there can allow people to find out who and where you are. I think most states protect DMV data, though.

Same reason people adopt a screen name instead of using their real name. Most people anyway...

I guess I feel l'm one punk who feels lucky...

That's what I figured, but people see my license plate all the time. Weird, how we get paranoid on the net when we aren't on the street.

My friend Max leaves his wireless internet connection open for all to use and puts his name, address and phone number. Says he wants people to know where they're getting their free access.

In light of the development of the .454 Casull and the .500 S&W Magnum, to name only two, Harry's claim that "This is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and it will blow your head clean off" is now kind of funny.

Love my 629, though.

I like to file the whole serial number off, it tends to up the cash value in certain areas.
