Buying a 2017 KLR 650 with 17 miles on it
Hi - Tuesday I'm supposed to go and get this new 2017 KLR 650 and it has 17 miles on it. No scratches or anything. Should I have any concerns? Should I just treat it normally as I would a Motorcycle with Zero miles?

I would imagine it’s been used for demo, which is no reason to consider it any less than a new bike.
Do the recommended break in and enjoy the bike.

I have never seen a new vehicle with zero miles, although I suppose it is possible. In my mind, 17 ~ zero. If the bike has never been titled, and is being sold on an MSO (instead of a title), it would be deemed a "new" bike (first retail sale).
I bought mine with 34, from the first owner, via title and bill of sale, therefore mine was "used", despite the low miles.

What they said; I've purchased many new vehicles and they all have some mileage on them. I'd consider anything less than 100 miles to be "new"....assuming you are the first person to register it.

Just rolling them in and out in the evening and morning adds some miles to the odometer unless they disconnect it.

on another car forum I frequent, the thought was that a brand new car accumulated 20 - 30 miles just in testing, loading and unloading, etc.
