Kick Starter Kit??

I was just talking to a fellow who stated he could get a kick starter kit for his 2007 for about $50. I was not aware of such a kit. What do you think?

"Keep The Rubber Side Down"
2007 Red. upgrades: doohickey, frt progressive springs, fork brace, Saddleman gel seat kit( recovered to be water-proof), mirror isolators, handle bar dampners, gel grips, dunlop 607 tires, crash guard w/pegs, carb mods, home-made glove box, signal light mod, 2" lowering links...TBA

Garage
Rick -

If you can get me one, I'll pay double that cost plus shipping!!

I think that kit is now made out of unobtainium (but you can probably cobble all the bits together from e-bay) and required some early clutch basket and gearbox parts (pre-'96, IIRC). I'd love to have one, though, and if it were available to fit the '08 I'd go for it.

Ya might get the kicker for $50 HC put one on his KLR,and if I'm not mistaken it came from a Canadian piecing out one of their models with all of the internals. In all seriousness,if you can get it for $50,go for it.

For that price definitely grab it if it's complete. I'm still needing the actual kick lever and the 2 small plates for my setup which I got new awhile ago. Wish I had them install it when I bought the bike new in 92. Hoping to never have to use it but a nice backup just in case
