Does seafoam damage paint?

Arg. Was putting seafoam in my tank when a gust of wind blew it all over (me and the bike). I am working late tonight so I can't "wash" it. I wiped it down and poured two gallons of water over it and dried it. Will seafoam cause any damage or does it just evaporate like gas?

It's basically a strong solvent, so it would probably ultimately damage the paint. What you did should take care of it tho. Years ago, I spilled a drop of Berrymans and didn't see it. Bout a week later had a hole in the paint bout 1/4 inch wide.

Nowadays, I put a large towel around the filler before putting it in the tank.

Yup. That guy, throwing buckets of simple green on his bike at 10pm. That's me. Neighbors seemed anxious. They just don't understand.

Bike is clean and shiny. And the seafoam I got all over my person cured my excema, erased old scars, grew my hair back, and made me feel ten years younger.

If you want to be embarrassed for all of us do a google search "lockjaw and seafoam". Damn if I don't love that curious stuff.
