Talking

Down here in sunny Florida, about half the Harley guys wave, and most Dual Sport riders, even KLRistas. The sporty bikes usually don't, but occasionally one will. Goldbling riders, just about never. Guess they didn't get the optional AutoWave switch installed.
One out of ten scooter riders might wave, but most look like they are rank newbies still scared of traffic. Don't want to spook them little fellers.....

The weirdest thing...

Buell recently ran a full page advertisement, right before they closed the factory down that said;
"A Buell is not a social networking tool" and inferred it is not safe to take a hand off the h-bars when said rider is in a turn, or something to that affect.
I thought that was cute.
I wave, but then I don't own a Buell, though I have up-graded the handling of many of them.
Who cares if other riders are to busy holding their grips to tip ya a salute?
Enjoy your rides.

"Hey, are you okay? Can you get up?
I thought you said you could ride"
