2 up on an 08 KLR Argentina ?

Hi , just looking for some input on riding 2 up on the 08 KLR. All up weight will be about 350 lbs . Has anyone taken trips like this on the KLR ? Is this bike to Small for this ? How well do you think the shocks will hold out ?
The bike is currently in Uruguay and my new girl wants to ride with me from Mendoza to Ushuaia then back up to Uruguay we would be mainly on Hwy 40. Any input would be appreciated ... cheers

The wife and myself have took a few trips on my 09. We are a combined weight of 320 lbs. I will say for both of us it is not the most comfortable ride in the world but definitely can be done. If you decide to go I would adjust the preload on the rear shock up. We normally ride with it on 5 for both us and seems to work fine. I found this thread on another site that may be worth taking a look at.

Hope this helps

I think I read somehwere that 400lbs is maximun total weight. Personally I can't imagine riding two up for any length of time on a KLR.
