Blown out monoshock in Baja!

Hey all

I am touring Baja and the seals on my monoshock have blown. Iíve already rebuilt this shock, so Iím scrambling trying to figure out how to find a used one south of the border, my budget is very low. Anyone have advice?

If anyone has the spare part, Iíd gladly pay and have it shipped to San Diego where a friend can bring it down to TJ and ship it on a bus to me. Iím currently in Bahia de Los Angeles.

Thanks !

Given your situation and budget, a used functioning stocker is your best bet. As you probably now know, the stock shock is a very crappy emulsion design that doesn't hold up solution is a decent replacement and I always recommend Cogent Dynamics for the best combination of quality, value and service......when you are done messing around with the stockers, give them a call. ....In fact, they have helped stranded riders in Baja before and sometimes have used stuff kicking around so it might be worth a call in any case.

good luck,
