Country Club Chique

Our golf club, owing to the virus, no longer allows the use of the locker rooms, golf club storage lockers or the electric golf carts. So this means we have to schlep our clubs and a push cart to the club and back home whenever we want to play golf. The problem is that golf clubs with push cart will not fit in my rear-engine car and my wife is not too keen on letting me use her Macan.

Well I solved the problem with my KLR. I simply lay the clubs and cart across the passenger portion of the seat and secure the load with two bungee cords. I get some disparaging looks from many of the members, especially the snooty ones. Notably I attached the KLR/BMW roundels to the front fairing of the KLR in an effort to fit in and improve my image, but it doesn't seem to be working. Oh well, every club has to have a renegade, and I guess that's me at Pine Forest.

Love it!

Don't confuse disparaging looks with jealousy. They wish they were half as bad-ass as you.

I wonder if you could put some 'higher-speed' wheels with bearings on the axles & just 'trailer it'?

Very few.

In fact, I'm the only one that I know of.

Nice set up! Before I had my first truck the motorcycle was all I had so Id just throw the bag over my shoulder and cruise to the course. Sure KLR owners play golf, im trying to figure out how to tow my trolley behind my KLR, its only a mile 20 mph max.

Aloha,
Willi

May I suggest to drill holes in the rear edge of the of the rear rack center plastic to accept bunjie cord hooks. then Zip-tie a bunjie cord to the trolley grab handle.
Any and all forward motion of the bike should lift the base of the trolley cart off of the ground.

You may need to add a section cut from an old tire to the base of the trolley cart to reduce wear during slow down/braking.
