trailering a Klr-650 with a BMW.

Hi all
This is a first for me on a forum.I was wondering if any one out there has ever heard of or pulled a KLR on a dolly behind another bike? This summer I plan on riding my K1200LT BMW to Alaska.I have a KLR 650 waiting there for me to do the haul rd and the Dempster Hwy.I want to pull the KLR back to Michigan behind my beemer on a dolly. If anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate them.

I know there's several hitches available for your Light Truck, and I'd think a light trailer or a trailer with a channel on it to retain the bike. I'd shoot for a trailer that's all aluminum to save weight and still give you strength, which you'll need for the rough roads.
I used to have a hitch on the back of my old 85' K100RS and it worked just fine. It was a single sided hitch that mounted on the right side and the subframe. If I'm not mistaken it was a Luftmiester hitch.

Maybe a trailer on this line??

Thanks for your ideas,I'll have to get a hitch for my bmw, plus a trailer then modify it .Maybe I'll check either flying one way or have it shipped back.I'm trying to keep this a low budget operation. Thanks again for your help.
