I love being a 40 year old nerd!

I had to do it. After so many years as a die hard fan I had to show my support for the best band on the planet. Well, as least 1 part of the band anyway! I couldn't find anything remotely cool or clever that was available with the name RUSH in it!

I like a good drummer, too.

Remember Carmine Appice?

Carmine is pretty bad ass! I prefer his brother's style a little more though. Vinnie just had more aggressive tendencies, which I liked, where Carmine was more freestyle jam but with complexity, for a lack of a better way to put it. Carmine would smoke Vinnie in terms of technique.

Candles huh?

I have an old LP, handed down from my dad, of Benny Goodman's 1938 concert at Carnegie, featuring a good solo by Gene Krupa.

Neat stuff.

Nice find...

For those that don't know, Neil is also the "real deal" dual sporter as well. His choice of bike is a little off, but he's forgiven!
The whole bike thingsis a total coincidence. I didn't get my bike because he had one, but I probably would have!!

Krupa was great! It's odd how Neil ended up producing a tribute CD to Buddy Rich and not Krupa. Krupa was his big influence next to Moon. I never got into Moon but I can appreciate his contributions.

Here's a pic of my old playground. 25 years pounding!! I miss the old days sometimes
