Well a good deal is obviously available, but I passed on buying a new '08 for $4100 out the door and bought a used '96 for $1K. Maybe I'm lucky, actually yes I am, but for the budget I had for a "new" KLR, I've almost exhausted every possible modification upgrade and had a blast wrenching on the beast and I'm still shy of $2K in the bike. Different strokes for different folks, your mileage may vary, but enjoy your new KLR whatever you decide on.
Farkled probably WAY too much, but good 20' footer for sure. '96 KLR
, '06 HD VROD, (girl friend hauler
), '05 HD Electra-Glide, heh it's a HD and I'm old now ;-) and I'm proud of riding a 800+ pound bike at my age :-)
