Anyone know anything about this helmet?

If it's half as good as the closeout HJC Carbon helmet I got a few weeks ago, it's nice..

My HJC fits perfectly (snug, but not uncomfortable) and it's so light it feels like you're not wearing a helmet.. At $230 shipped it's the most expensive helmet I've ever purchased, but also an instant favorite.

I have no patience.

Just ordered one. Heads up to all. I have always worn HJC helmets. Cheap. HJC makes the JR helmets. On sale now at newenough.com.

MSRP: 450

I paid 150 with shipping. Most I ever spent for a helmet, but what the hell...it's my head.

(nice one SLO)

I got the flyer from NE earlier. My guess is that you'll wish you could order two and save the other from aging so you can wear it when the first one wears out..

I looked at the JR breifly while at Chapparall the other day.. If I had known, I'd have looked more closely.. Price tag was $400ish...

Since I can't sleep more than 2 hours, I think I'll wander over to Brown Motor Works in Pomona and say Hello to Fernando, the parts manager.. He's the guy I bought my V Strom from, years ago.

I'm sure there's some damned BMW on the floor to wish upon. Think they'd trade me a S100RR even up for my 1985 R80??

Enjoy that helmet!! It'll be at your door on Monday, I'd guess.

Yeah, I've said it before and will keep saying it...NewEnough rocks. Thanks to them I have:

boots
gloves (3 pair)
3 helmets (new one coming, my current one, and my old "hair cut day" helmet)
three jackets (leather, nylon, mesh)
rain gear
-- all purchased on clearance

...and probably some other stuff I forgot. I agree about buying two, Paper. If I thought it would last...price is gonna be tough to beat.

So I'm gonna take a wild guess and say you got the copper color? Cool looking helmet. Lets test it. Hey works well!

Yeah, copper. First non-white helmet for me. It does look pretty cool. We can put on our helmets and bang our heads into things next weekend.

Haven't even worn it on a ride yet, but if you are even thinking about a new helmet, this is well worth checking out.

I always buy the cheapest HJC. This Rocket helmet is really, really nice. Better vents, better neck seal. Definitely a bargain.

The copper is the cheapest...looks nice. More brown. Happens to PERFECTLY match my 73 Honda.
