Black or Silver SM fender?

I have the 2007 Red and silver KLR....
I know there is no way to get a red super moto fender to match my bike.... but Acerbis does sell a silver one and a black one...
I am wondering how close the silver will match.... or if the black one would look better....

I've never seen one with Silver, but the black looks good. I'd choose black personally. My .02

The silver is close to the KAWA silver. Mine is silver front, black between the wheel and radiator.

Please consider a real bash plate and radiator protection before loosing sleep over color schemes.

I've been looking for radiator guards.. I can't find any... I've always used Unabiker on all my other bikes... including my WR450 has them now... they are definately the best made ones I've ever seen. My WR450 has been flying through the air with out me on it and landed smack on the radiator and didn't do a thing.
Unfortionately they don't make them for the KLR...

also... is the right side an oil cooler? .... it looks way different than the left side

This provides basic protection for engine / radiator / tank.

As far as the oil cooler...are you looking at the round item between the wheel and the engine?

That would be a tool tube.

My tire "ditty kit". The jack is attached to the bike frame, everything else I need for tire repair is in the tube. Air compressor, tire spoons, valve stem tool, patch kit and 21" tube that will work on either wheel.

well the right radiator looks completely different than the left one.. i was thinking that the right one might be an oil cooler.... and the left one is a radiator...
I like the tank bar things.... i could see them also protecting the radiators
what skid plate you got...
i want a black one too!

This reminds me of when I bought my drz.... its always.. what can I buy next for my bike

btw... i rode it to work today.. and on my way home.. i took a detour... about 4 miles down the side of the rail road tracks :-)

Looks like it matches up ok.... kinda hard to tell from the pictures... the first one looks like it doesn't match very good and the last one looks like it matches perfectly.... oh well... I got a black one coming....
