low profile blinkers

I've got some Trax boxes on backorder from Twisted Throttle and have been looking for some low profile rear blinkers that will fit in the existing location so I don't have to relocate / rewire the existing blinkers.

Any suggestions?

This was an issue when I considered adding aluminum panniers. After all things were considered, I opted to relocate the turn signals. The visibility of the turn signals was the deciding factor.
When the tail rack gets loaded with tents and camp chairs and all the other things that will end up on the back of the bike, those lights back there can get covered up pretty easily.

One of my turn signals recently melted after falling off during a ride. I purchased some shorter led lights that fit almost completely under the rear rack (it seems- I have not mounted them yet).
But, when I was looking into this, I read a post somewhere that somebody simply removed a piece from the stock turn signal posts and shortened them considerably. They said it was simple and the process made sense once they got the signals apart. I would have tried this if I still had two good stock lights to work with.
