I am tempted. Were you looking at it as a project? What is your impression of it? What do you think it should be priced at? Did you hear it run? So many questions.

I was looking at it for a project, my concern was whether the forks and frame were tweeked. The owner says it needs $2000 in parts. It did not start when I was there but there were a few fuses blown and the wiring was partially severed so it was a little tricky just getting it to turn over. The engine did not take a hit and panniers protected the rear of the bike. Hope that helps.

Ya that's the problem buying something like that. You have to take the word of the owner to some degree. It probably only has a salvage title so you would have to get it inspected when you had it done. Probably best to part it out.

I dont think he ever filed a claim so it should be free and clear of a salvage title.....not sure on that though. Parting it out seems like the best option, not sure what the parts are worth but I think the price needs to be under $1000.
