Height and Length of the Gen2?

Can somebody do me a favor and measure the total height (without mirrors) and length of the 2008-up KLR?
Looking to buy one and trying to figure out if it's gonna fit in my Astro van.

I don't think the Astro is bigger than a Caravan, so bad news is it won't unless you carry it in on it's side with all the seats out. Your best bet, unless you have a friend with a pickup and ramp or trailer, will be a small uhaul and four tie down straps. Or you can ride it home.

The Astro is a bit bigger. I can take all rear seats out and fit 4x8 sheets in there.

Will it leak any fluids by carrying it on the side?

Maybe gas. But the tank is pretty easy to drain by unplugging the gas line and opening the petcock. I'd be most worried about cracking the plastic and the bike shifting in an emergency stop.

Mine is 55" to the windscreen and 90" from the rear fender to the front of the front tire. 38" from hand-guard to hand-guard.

It weighs 425 pounds when on the side stand, 900 pounds when it is laying down...

Sure does. Four allen screws and it's off.

If you need more clearance you can loosen the handlebars and rotate them down. You can also loosen the pinch bolts on the triple tree and slide the forks up to get about 3 inches of drop.
