Impressed with E-bay foot pegs from China

After looking around at foot pegs for my 1998 KLR 650 - I reluctantly ordered
a set from China for $18.99 with free shipping. I ordered on December 5 and they arrived today 12/13/2010.

They look GREAT and fit like a glove - Can't beat the price either.
I am usually hard to impress but these pegs made my day.

Just thought I would share. Here is a link to the auction.

Those look like the ones I have. I think I paid a few bucks more from a vendor. Nice grab.

They are pretty heavy and appear very well made. They are for sure better than the stock ones that were on there.

I have not ridden with them yet - It is like 18 degree's here and icy.
I'll post more when I have a chance to ride some.

I've had them on my 08 for more than 3 years and haven't broke them yet! I did replace the OEM mounting pins and c-clips with hardened bolts and nylock nuts.

I never did find springs for them, tried a few different suggestions but none worked.

I also replaced the pins with Grade 8 bolts and lock nuts. My bike has never had the springs so I don't know what I am missing there. I can't see it being a problem though.

I thought they were an awesome deal for the price. I was worried about the shipping time from China though - they might as well have been in the USA for the time frame. I wonder how they make any money with free shipping from that distance?

Just trying to contribute a little to this site.

Merry Christmas All!!!!!!

I have them on my 06 and my brother (Sleddog on the forum) has some he paid like 80 bucks for plus freight. We were in MOAB over Thanksgiving and I looked real close at them both and found NO difference in them, right down to the letters and numbers stamped in them. He did get upgrade bolts and spring with his.. I added springs and bolts and I have like 40 bucks in them
