Hello! Doo question

So, from this forum, it seems that everyone does the doo. I'm pretty sure its never been done on the one I just got..an '00, and it runs kinda weird. Its my first so I'm not sure how its supposed to run, but I want it to run better. Does changing the doo/spring make it run differently? accelerate, shake less?
thanks!

Hello All,

I'm in Brick, NJ. That's central NJ for those whom don't know. I recently purchased a 2005 KLR 650 from a friend who purchased a 09 BMW GS Adventure. He upgraded the hell out of the thing. I just don't have the list. I also own a 2005 Big Dog Chopper.

Anyway, maybe I'll cross paths with you guys sometime. By the way do any of you participate in the Garden State Tag on ADV?

Walpack area...Mine Road...I've ridden a bunch of those dirt roads on my Harley Dynaglide. It was rides like that got me started thinking about getting a KLR. I am in Bloomingdale and am looking to p/u a KLR in the near future. That will give me 3 motorcycles and a mini-cycle...time to expand the shed.

Rider in Princeton Area

I just got my 08 KLR about a month ago and already logged about 900 miles on it and banged up my radiator ( I think ).

My buddy who sold his bike, told/showed me all the trails/pits in the Pine Barrens.. wedged between GSP and rte 539...already went down there... so I'm hooked, but would really like to ride with someone.

Feel free to send a message and maybe we can all get a day out together, but first I have to bring in my bike to get it checked out.

Hi there!

ColoradoTom, I'm glad you posted up or I might not have known that this thread existed

My husband and I moved to Verona last fall. I have an '00 and an '01. He has an '08. We have a huge garage with all sorts of tools, so if anyone ever needs a Tech Day all you have to do is say "Boo!" I love the chance to drag out the grill and the air compressor and bang some things around

Ok, so is there anything to be done about this damn heat? I'm seriously missing the West Coast

You don't know unless you ask.

Yeah tell me about it! I've been wanting to "do the doo" for a while now but the weather never cooperates, have the parts and everything. It's nice to have some local members in the area. We should plan some sort of group ride in the not so distant future.
