I agree, it was in the 50's here in Colorado yesterday. I took a "mental health afternoon" and did a big loop on country roads, I25, and then back to Boulder for a wake of all things! It was amazing how many of us showed up on motorcycles for the wake/funeral. The knobbies on my "new" '96 weren't too bad at ~ 80mph on I25, so guess I'll burn those off this summer. Wonderful bike, it just walks past gas stations, I'm amazed and need to start calculating what's it's really NOT burning, maybe oil ;-) Suppose to snow again so I'll rip the forks off and get the fluid, springs, and fork brace on before the next outing.

Farkled probably WAY too much, but good 20' footer for sure. '96 KLR, '06 HD VROD, (girl friend hauler), '05 HD Electra-Glide, heh it's a HD and I'm old now ;-) and I'm proud of riding a 800+ pound bike at my age :-)

Daym, its been in the high 90s to low 100s for months here in El Paso, TX.

I ride all year round, but the summer months can really suck the moisture out of you real quick. I have bottles of gatorade in the saddle bags so that I can stop and keep hydrated.

One of the guys at work has a temp gage on this bike and recorded 120 degrees with the heat radiating from the black top in the parking lot; actual / air temp of 101 degrees today.
