I used to be almost no Harleys, but they've invaded in the last couple years.. It's still a great mix of bikes, but the bar on the corner has become a HOG hangout.. If the weather is crappy, it's actually better..

Right now they're calling for a chance of rain, so I'll actually be there.. When it's really nice out, I just go ride elsewhere.

The parking lot of the Mouse is packed with obscure bikes, some of which shouldn't be ridden since they're pure race bikes, historical, or very customized.. The last video was one I took from 2 years ago.. $70,000 worth of Ducati was worth the visit..

This weekend is a busy one, with a huge BMW flea market in Pecatonica, IL on Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday, plus the Crud run.. Saturday sounds miserable, so I'll just drive over there and see if I can pick up some bargains for my 30 year old R65, and then I'll toss on my Aerostich stuff and wander up to a friend's place, only 15 miles from Pine Bluff... Then wander over to the Crud run on Sunday morning.. The parking lot will be almost vacant at 8am, and by 11am there will be 3000 bikes in it.. Around noonish, they'll start rolling out towards Leland..

I'll be hanging out with these two..

And I'll be wearing a High Vis Darien like the one guy in that photo, black Aerostich Darien pants and I look like this..

And I hope the weather clears soon so I can get my break-in miles done.

And if you guys can, please see if you can make it to this.. http://www.wmgr.org/

It's the Wisconsin Moto Guzzi Rider's annual rally... First weekend in August..
Fantastic time!!! Pre-registering saves you $15!! They feed you Friday and Saturday night, clean showers, great people and (if you enjoy a beer or two) a the beer you wish all weekend!!

Usually a good turnout of 20 ADVrider guys, and the rally is usually only 300 or less folks!! I won't miss it!! Been going for 7 or so years now!!

Annual family reunion party is the first Sat in Aug and the following weekend is my daughter's wedding so I'm afraid that one doesn't look too good for me either.

Sounds good!! It's tough to find someone.. Usually around 3000 or more people.. Keep an eye out for my little Beemer.. The old airhead population is usually pretty small anymore, so they stand out somewhat..
