I live near Missouri 45 & I-29 just south of Zona Rosa.
Maybe we could hook up over a weekend somewhere in the middle. I would entertain a ride to St Joe if the weather is great.

We'll see what we can do. Unfortunately, besides riding to work from time to time, I don't get in much "go wander around" riding except maybe on Mondays. I work every Saturday and it seems like we've always got stuff we have to get done on Sundays. I'll let you know if I'm gonna get any free time any time soon. I think I need to burn up some more vacation days at work before the end of the year.

Great! Believe me, I understand. Just let me know and I will stay in touch. Occasionally I go to Maryville where we have a daughter in college. All too often I go to Manards in St Joe for home projects.
There should be sometime...some day!
Safe travels

I really don't make it down to KC much anymore. I try to get to one Chiefs game a year and will hit Cabela's (a.k.a. "The Dead Animals Store") to pick up ammo if they're having a sale and to watch all the hillbillies that make their pilgrimage there. Every time we see a couple in matching camo shirts my wife has to give me $10.

I tried to get her to give me $5 every time some fat kid in camo screamed profanities at the "shooting gallery," but she quickly realized she'd be broke in a matter of minutes.......

I don't care who you are, that's funny!
You have a great sense of humor.
I was laughing so hard I had to tell my wife.
Stay in touch.

Hi Benson and Savage,
I am in north Kansas City and like to ride on weekends. Always interested in a day ride.
Ping me any time you would like to ride.
Jack

Savage,
I always like talking to you about working on the bike. I did a couple of improvements to the KLR that I would like to share.
Jack

I've always wanted to do a Flint Hills ride. I've always liked that Wide Open Prairie ambience. If I ever won the lottery, I'd buy some of it and raise a herd of bison.

Future rides

Ping me anytime you are interested in riding the Flint Hills. Great trip to Emporia with lots of meal stops. My KLR is ready to roll...but my seat hates the freezing cold. So, it will have to be warmer to get me to go.
