Guzzi Rally FREE BEER!!!

Got your attention, didn't it? Well, Beer (several kinds) are included in the rally fee.. If you pre-register ($35) you get camping all weekend, fed all weekend, and when you arrive they hand you a cup and point at the beer wagon, help yourself!!

The info is at http://wmgr.org/ and yes, I've pre-registered..

Even if you don't, it's still dirt cheap considering all the stuff included, and the rally is held right at the gateway of some of the best riding in the midwest!! Southwestern Wisconsin roads are excellent and this rally puts you right there for a Saturday of wandering great roads.. Stay off the roads that have numbers, and stay on local roads or county roads that are listed as letters, and you're in for corners upon corners..

The rally is laid back and typically about 300 people.. It's the first weekend in August..

I'm sure the Guzzi club would like to see you there, and I'm usually hangin out with friends and a bunch of ADVriders..

While I could ride any of my bikes over, I'll be going a bit wild this year and riding my absolute race bike over.. It's pretty easy to pick out..

If you see a yellow one, you're getting close to mine..

Yeah, the rally is only 75 miles from my house, and I've ridden the Helix past the campgrounds numerous times this year, already..

The Guzzi Rally is a great time.. I've gone for the last 8 or so years and it's a hoot.. It's well self policed, and on the very rare occasion that someone gets out of hand, it's quietly addressed. Very relaxed group, and it's usually about 300 bikes, with about half being Guzzi, and the other majority is BMW and a smattering of odds and ends.. A friend of mine from the Minneapolis area will be riding his Helix.. There's always some KLR's at the rally, too..

I'm looking forward to it.

I know this is an old thread but the title did catch my attention. I went to the 2014 rally in Elkader Iowa. I will echo the writings of the OP here. Heck of a good time and many types of bikes there. Great bunch and probably like the KLRistas, much maligned and whispered about in many places. 2015 rally is in New England. I know this doesn't have anything to do with a KLR but...taking a chance and throwing out an opinion.
Still looking for first KLR.
Ride safe.
