Cool Ohio Trails

Does anyone know of any good trails just to get off road in central Ohio. I am aware of Hatfield in WV and Wayne in Ohio, but I am looking for something just to go run around closer to me in Columbus. I am open to any ideas and suggestions.

I'd love to help because I lived there once. It's kind of flat. I can't think of anywhere. You may be asking for something that's not there. Come ride Tennessee.

I may have to do that. I was in Gatlinburg last weekend and it looked like some prime hunting for trails and places to go.

OH SHIT! Tourist trap! Got to go see it once but that's all. LOL! You went to far! Check out Royal Blue wildlife management area. Exit #141 on interstate 75. Some trails are ATV only! Don't get in over your head. Paper maps can be bought at shell at the 141 exit. Download a GPS trail map here: https://www.gpsfiledepot.com/maps/view/446/

Don't go alone. Take a GPS!!! You can get lost. Ran into many people who were. If alone and injured from crash, you can starve to death before someone comes by to help. Take a buddy. I ride with a SPOT GPS so I could call for help via satellite. Cell phones don't work many places there but Verizon is best chance. Remember you're on top of a mountain and it can get cold. Bring gear.

NOTE: Interstate currently closed due to rock slide. Riding permit require. Out of state people pay more. FIFO's (F.N Idiots From Ohio) welcome but charged.

Have you asked about Ohio here: OffRoadOhio.com ? Index page

I'm not sure how far your wanting to travel but there are lots of trail near McArther OH in the Hocking Hills area. We do Dual Sports events there all the time and some of the non maintained roads are difficult to do on a KTM 350. Also Logan OH has lots of trails near Lake Hope.
