Sorry man, couldn't make it past a minute. No gloves, no jacket....makes my skin crawl.

Scrapper, man, I just gotta bawl you out youngster.....WOULD you PLEASE think a little? You can try to out see a deer. sure. but I'm telling you, they just SUDDENLY appear. I had exactly two seconds to decelerate, maneuver or look for a route out..and make a command decision all at once. You simply are too slow to 'see' them to do anything about it. After your impact, its up to your gear to save your arse.... t shirt, jeans sneakers... tatoos....lol seriously think about this.
that loose rock that you hit could have been it for ya.... You would have most likely been caught in a high speed, high side crash..... after you over corrected in that scenario. Wear your gear. I see where you said that its too hot where you live. So.?... get a good flowing / venting helmet. Spend some dough on one. 300 k? then get a 600 wt nylon jacket w/ pads in the shoulders, elbows, backside.... GOOD GloVes... with knuckle busters on top. get some meshtex pants from Firstgear. They offer excellent air flow, while having hip and hard knee pads installed. Plus, they have a heat shield sewn at the inside calf sections.... spend 200 bucks and get them. You will be comfortable. the jacket needs to have LOTS of venting... you can wear it without the liner....and be ok better.

K. get some gear kid and ride safe. your kids will thank you later.

I had to stop watching at 3.50.... you obviously are crusing in this video.... way faster than is safe for your KLR and road conditions. You crossed a cattle guard, and thats when I quit watching. man. you are in open range country?.!!!!????? and you are riding like that?... man You need to get smart fast before you get it. blind corner, bunch of 1500 lb cows in the middle of your path... BAM ... lights out scrapper.

Look, I don't mean to make you feel bad, but you are kind of asking for trouble if you don't slow it up and ride smarter than this. KLR's aren't streetbikes. You will be needing Ion shields to help protect you man.... not firstgear...

I've ridden some pretty hot rides and I'd rather sweat than die or have gravel scraped out of my flesh with a wire brush.

I have a mesh jacket cost me about $40. It ain't the same protection as my leather, but shit man...OK, I'm a writer so I need my hands, but imagine your palms hitting asphalt at 50 mph.

No one is trying to preach...we look out for each other here. I wasn't always smart and have made far stupider decisions with my life in the past than riding without gear - I got lucky. I don't take those kind of chances any more and if it's too hot to wear gear, it's too hot to ride.

Munter just lived it brother. Go look at the pics of his gear and helmet.
