PHBiker You can always sell your bike for more later. A tube and cap = several custom harley parts = $$$.
Hey if Dodge can build a 4-door Charger is there anything that's off limits?

Nope a $50 shinko 244. However the only place open on Sunday's that sold tubes was the Harley dealer. I'm pretty sure I paid the Harley tax for a rebranded Dunlop tube. Doh!

Yup, I always keep my still serviceable tires for emergency spares. Hoping the ruined tire wasn't a really pricey one like an Avon or something.

2fastlx After taking the tire off it's more like a gash. This tires done. Luckily I still have my old one to get me by for a few days.

650Stew I'm with planalp on this one, any damage to the sidewall of a tire and I would replace it.
