I really don't know... Since I let my FFL collector's license go back, I haven't bought many.. (other than 3 today)

I've sold a few in efforts to gain quality over quantity.. I have no idea why someone would need a $1000 single shot .22 rifle, but I've got one.. And Anschutz .22's... I love them..

On the other hand I'm shooting a .22 match on Sunday, and I've won every match I've entered in the last 3 years. I'm not a competitive person, but I love shooting matches.. I just get into a zone and can't wait to fire the next round perfectly, time and time again.. One hole, five shots, again and again..

In my humble opinion, gold and silver won't really do you any good - because the only reason they've got value is because society says they've got value. You'd be better off loading up on plenty of ammo for your weaponry, along with food and other essential supplies to sustain and protect your life. Another good thing would be items that can be used for barter.

Unfortunately, I lost all my guns in a tragic boating accident...
