Hey, I'm looking for riders to ride with in Michigan, my name is Tom and I'm starting a new group on Face Book called KLR 650 Riders Of Michigan.
I'd appreciate if you'd joined in, and spread the news to any adventure bike riders you know. It is my hope to create a network of riders through the use of Face Book. That way when someone wants to ride or set up an event we can get in touch with each other here in Michigan.

Checked out cannonshots website. Looks like fun although fairly extreme off-road, I may have failed to mention my Dad will be riding a 1980 Suzuki GS750. It is not exactly an adventure bike, we will be sticking to the pavement for this ride. But now I'm wondering about a KLR only trip up there at another time.

|klrophile||A guy named Cannonshot does motorcycle tours in that area - try cannonshot dot net and look for some of his reports. 3 days is barely enough to get a taste of Keeweenaw Peninsula - beautiful riding up there. 26 along the coast, Brockway Mtn Drive, Hwy 41 from the north end, Lac Labelle road, are all great.|
