Wow! That's interesting and yeah... Bet there was tons of monkey butt powder sold that day lol.
Btw, question of moral... Does anyone think it's OK/not OK to transport a (willing) dog? I have always kind of wanted a little riding partner but it's kind of like putting a baby on a bike IMHO.
No judgment if you do or don't you bike with your pet but jw what everyone else thinks/does. For the record, I have no intentions of taking a dog biking but it's like a random thought

I didn't read the whole thread but,
I had a customer who had a large plywood 'carrier deck' bolted to his '09 luggage rack.
On the RH side he mounted a Kolpin Bracket and Scabbard. The rest of the large carpet padded deck was for his 70 pound Labrador Retriever!
He rode from Florida to University of Wyoming to Lander, WY to Alaska and back to Florida with his gear in a Large Duffle on the back half of the seat. 1400+ miles one day going back home!!!! Ouch.

|TwistedSister||Last weekend I went to a Walmart in WV and literally smelled every customer in the store. I was gasping for air when I got outside. I don't mean to be cruel but come on, it isn't that hard to take a shower! Would it kill them to make a little effort? Maybe wear clean pajamas and a clean wifebeater?|

|TwistedSister||Lol I sure could use a boot scraper AND ramps. I helped my bro buy a welder but it's a pain trying to get anything done. I asked him to do a couple beads on my truck muffler... His suggestion? Metal zip ties lol. Wth|

Damn. The only thing I've accomplished on the Man Card was Learning To Weld and that was in High School. Haven't done it since..... For our final project other people were making barbecue grills and car ramps. I made a boot scraper out of 3 pieces of metal.
I'll tell you what, though. That damned boot scraper got a lot more use than those grills or car ramps ever did. I would tally the number of Scraped Boots in the Thousands.
I do, however, know how to smoke some damned good meat, drink warm beer if that's all there is around and I can throw and stick a tomahawk with general accuracy within fairly respectable parameters.
I also know how to "express" the impacted anal glands of a Beagle Hound.
