Damocles Yeah; I've seen 'em, "Rocky the Flying Squirrel" launch poles, but . . . as I recall, austere "swinging bridges" connect poles from one side to the other of the Cherohala also, for the squirrels who prefer this mode of transit.

Or, maybe we're talking about two different modes of transport: Flying across from utility poles, or using the bridges I mention.

Anyhow, i required a native to explain to me the purpose of these structures.
