willys If you bought the black ones.....I'm sorry but they are junk!!! You should have bought the neon yellow ones....they are the strongest by far!

Naw...they'll be perfect!

Lockjaw You'll be good to go.

I have the motech, but the givi seem to get good reviews.

I just ordered crashbars for my '08 KLR

I've been wanting them wince I picked up the bike last July. I read every review I could find, and decided SW Motech were the ones I wanted. So I started saving and asking for gift certificates on my birthday.

When I was ready to buy, the SW Motech's were $239, plus $50 shipping! Not available on Amazon (where I had amassed a warchest of gift certificates).

So, I ended up searching Amazon for what they had available. I found I had to be thoughtful on what I searched, as they go by crashbars, crash bars, engine guards, and various other cute but frustrating monikers. I finally ended up getting Givi bars for $212 and free shipping, saving me about $77.

Did I make a mistake, or will I be alright? (I am a 95% street rider, who will chase down the occasional dirt / fire road when opportunity presents itself).
