Tom Schmitz When one member of a community voices a legitimate concern it usually means there are others who are silently thinking the same thing.

To not recognize that is an error. To tell that person 'you should loosen up' is quite uncalled for, especially given who it is.

We done here. Move along.

pdwestman I personally think that PAGE 8 of this Thread ought to be DELETED by a Moderator and you 2 ought to just cease the BS. IMHO! Thank you.

Yes, I am pretty well balanced but lean into ISTJ.
J. J!

You confirm my expectation, Judging, in contrast to Perceiving! (You have my respect for your candid declaration.)

My aversion to Zuckeman alone keeps me from becoming his PRODUCT (the subscribers, whose readership and personal data is sold to advertisers, is Facebook's product, not unlike with other "platforms"). I've seen first-hand how hard Harvard Business School graduate students work; Zuckerman's betrayal of and theft from his classmates remains repugnant to me. Any additional, and hidden, agenda on my part remains unknown to me, awaiting your judgmental penetrating analysis and revelation!

FULL DISCLOSURE: While hardly a proponent of China's policies, I DO shop at Walmart! Harbor Freight, too!

My, my! How insightful you are, Voyager!

How do you know this? What evidence supports your conclusion?

Ever take the Myers-Briggs test? If so, how'd you do on the judging/perception balance?

-----------------------------------

Assuming your conclusion is correct, what, indeed, is my hidden "reason" for rejecting Facebook? Inquiring minds, including my own, want to know!

Can't fool you, Voyager! My dark and arcane motives appear totally TRANSPARENT to you; I wither before your judgmental and incisive analysis!

Now . . . tell everyone . . . what are my TRUE motives and purposes in resisting Facebook?

Zuckerberg's character, in my view, comes close to that of the "robber barons" you mention of yesteryear. Betraying his college friends and partners who trusted him, and stealing from them, rates low in my catalog of virtues, but . . . maybe that's just ME! (I know, I know. Two or three billion people (maybe more) in the world overlook Zuckerberg's character flaws (if any) and subscribe to Facebook.)

Without my participation or encouragement, some government/legislative trust-busters may be in Zuckerberg's future, according to news reports. Yet, justice, even poetic justice, remains elusive. We'll see!

Damocles Didn't know Normk ever fabricated a "true" PCV system!

Besides improving air quality in his region of Canada, what differences did he notice in his bike's performance? Lower oil consumption? Increased power? All the purported benefits of the PCV Valve mot? Etc.?

------------------------------------------------------

Can't research the development myself, because . . . I ain't no FaceBooker! Stubbornly, I resist FaceBook because I resent Zuckerberg's theft of, "Harvard Connection," the genesis of FaceBook, from his classmates. I know, he paid 'em off, a few million dollars in legal settlements, but . . . that's NOTHING for the richest man in the world. And . . . whatever he paid doesn't make his betrayal and theft of intellectual property right.

I've always felt that the entire Thread was well worth reading, thank you for starting it. Which is why I occasionally link to it.

Norm Keller is still semi-active over on FB KLR Technical. One can find his fully operational KLR PCV system in the Files section / Norms Links or in Photos. But it is a 'little bulky' for me to consider copying.

Did you check out the 'Bunn Breather' links, Lee_T?
