Sorry I can not remember the jet sizes off the top of my head. I have put around 10,000 miles with this set up without any problems. Yes I had already drilled the crab.
Mileage is running in the mid to upper 40's depending on the ride. I have pulled the plug several times and it looks good so I think that she is dialed in pretty good.
Sounds like you've got a good set up for sure. Hey, 10K miles of riding, no combustion or fuel related problems, and the fact your plug looks good, I would be happy.

It gives you some idea of the sound.

Thats not as loud as I was thinking, but still pretty loud. I do bet that stopper will quieten it down a great deal. Cool video by the way!

tomatocity SLO those are some killer trails. Where are they at? 400+ pounds of heavy metal is not very forgiving. What front gear are you using? Were you able to ride with another KLR with stock exhaust to hear the difference? Can you feel any difference? Thanks for the rides buddy.

Heres something else that I am curious about also, does it run any different, as far as power and torque go, with that stopper plugged in?

You know, I have "juiced" up cars and bikes from stock in the past and sometimes, I wish I would have left it alone. But darn'it, I think I am in need of some >%&* racket!

So Moto - did you jet the carb and install the free flow air cleaner as well.

Could you tell a change in fuel usage?

Moto, would you do it all over again, the Jardine, or is there something else you have tried that you like better.
