Thanks for the info, but I ended up getting the kit with the tools and everything included from Viscious Cycle, so now it just has to stop friggin' snowing long enuff for me to feel like doing it.

East Coast Al Rob, I thought that we were supposed to do this kind of work in your living rooms .. I would be up for an adventure to Eastern Passage for sure.

RobMac747 Hey Al,
I don't know when I'm gonna do the mod, I guess as soon as the weather permits. My buddy's garage isn't heated either, but I might end up doing it there, he lives in Eastern Passage and has an actual floor in his garage. But you're still welcome to come, hang out and see how we fumble through a doohickey mod. It'll probably be a weekend, Sat or Sundayafternoon I'll call you or text you as soon as I know when.

646bph, if you want to know when and where just PM me with your phone number and I'll shoot you a text.

Rob

I'm in no rush

I agree with both of you, my Canadian Brethen... I'm in no rush, and not currently losing any sleep over doin it, my bike's a 2013. But, I will R&R the sprin at some point, might as well err on the side of caution. And you were right 646, I'm just putting out some feelers.
I know people around here have done the mod, I just want to see if one of em might have the tools layin around.

klr4evr Me either. Just trying to help you "get off the fence". Which side you land on don't matter to me.

Not looking to start an argument, this post is more about finding someone who might have the right tools in the province, than arguing about whether it should be changed out or not.
