bakada Ok finally got some free time. Been trying to keep the heater in my shop going (have to keep the KLR warm). It cant fugure out how to mix the dense cold 50 below air with the fuel and keeps sooting up and shutting doun. Hasnt been warmer than 45 below at my house since the 27th of Dec. Kids camped out for scouts last weekend in there snow shelters at 58 below. Didnt quite have the time to make that trip. Had to come to Nome for work to warm up. It is a balmy 6 above. Feels great.

Hardyreels You wanna talk COLD? Damm, it hasn't been above -10 here for 10 days. Lows of -32! Now that sucks. I am looking forward to spring more than most KLR riders.

sbrogdon By the way, what part of the Great State of Idaho do you hail from?

sbrogdon Mike: I know what you mean. I have about 6 in of snow in my yard and the roads out here in the wilds of Canyon County have got about 2 in of white ice on 'em. Funny, until I bought my KLR last june (and put 5100 mi on it) I liked my F-150, now...........

Hardyreels Cold? Cold?

Just came back from Bush camp 80 mile ride on snowmachine @ -37 now that's cold. Mild frostbite on seven finger tips and wont go back till this crazy front moves on. I burned more wood in five days than I should in ten. It never went above -17 as a daily high, makes it hard to get anything done.

Bike is in garage and doesn't go out unless it's above 25* F and roads are clear. Relax, tie some flies for the breakup in spring, Trout, Salmon, winter is good for some things.

SAR Medic In tear down mode now, just finished rear bearings and subframe bolt replacement. Now attacking the front. I'm with you on the cold. However, today is going to be 38 and clear would go ride but bike is in pieces.
