Bratski Yes Waverlyhagod made it outa 10mm solid bar, a bit more flex than tube but thats not such a bad thing, the rear cross brace you see in the pics has been changed to 14mm tubing as the 10mm solid started to bend..... but so far its working well and i have fitted a set of Pelicans to it and my tent ,sleeping bag, bed roll ect and its holding up well, will post some pics of the fully loaded bike as soon as i get a chance

waverlyhagood Bratski did you mean 10mm solid bar or 10mm tube? Anyway you have a great looking set up.

Bratski Thanks Paulo, will be taking this thing across the desert in 5 months time so that should test it out..... i think i may have also caught the farkle bug, i can see a lot more things i wanna do to her now.....

Bratski Thanks guy's, i was going to just make up pannier frames and bolt them to the old rack but after dropping the bike at a standstill and snapping of the left hand grab handle i thought a one piece setup like this would be able to take the abuse better. Will post some pic's of the Pelicans fitted as soon as i get my hands on them .........
