I put them on my bark busters, one of the very first massively chunky LED systems that came out way back, they still work but they will be coming off sooner than later for smaller more powerfull versions......plus mine are used as running lights to widen my visual footprint not for indicators. But they could be used as such.
I did install modern flat versions on my brother's bike but the two sided tap wasn't strong enough and I ended up siliconing then in place, simple to do, just tape them down until silicon dries.

I really like the mirrors Toney, I'm going to look into that.
But has anyone put top-emitting LED's on their front fairing?

Yes I have LEDs both front and rear, but normally use y arms, I hate people who forget to turn off their indicators and I like to see if the people around me see when I want to turn, I can usually see when they see my arms go up if they have seen me or not far better than using my indicators...yes I know something we shouldn't be recommending but it works for me.....sorry.....

LED Turn Signals
Hi, new to the forum. I've had my '09 KLR for about a month now, and decided I want to be more visible in the front (rear already has all LED's from the previous owner). After some screwing around and playing with the wiring I've got the indicator light pulled out and I'm waiting for a non-polarized LED indicator light to come in the mail, and in the mean time I'm driving my buddies crazy because I forget my signals are on. Oh well.
While I was browsing superbrightleds.com I found some LED light strips, and thought it would be cool to run them along the sides of the front fairing and connect them to the turn signals. I figure it would increase visibility and provide indicators for each side, as they'd come up high enough to be seen while sitting on the bike.
Thoughts? Has anyone done anything like this?
