Bill10 I'll be keeping an eye out for C-FL later in the year. The next big ride event looks like the Hooch up in North Georgia. I need to get my registration in on that one.

JohnBG I've done the Dixie DualSport C-FL and Devil's Creek "adventure" (mix of highway and dirt roads) level rides in 2014 on a Ural sidecar rig. Swampy is a good host. I'm not skilled enough to ride the swamps yet, but looking forward to taking the KLR to a DDS Adventure-level ride.

Bill10 LOL! The camp was under half and hour from my home, so I lugged all my camping gear up in my car, set up and went back and got the bike. I now have both a hitch carrier and a small trailer, so I can skip that exercise in the future.

ECI-Tampa Good turnout. How'd you get that blue cooler on your bike?

Bill10 Hopefully, a little less sand in the Smokys next month.

cherokee_chuck Great pics! They have in the past had a ride around Cheaha St. Park in Alabama near Halloween. During our Bama Jama ride, we have bumped into them.

Joker357 That looks like a lot of fun and I love to see the classic bikes

Bill10 Definitely will do.

I'm also looking at one of the two later Arizona rounds. I was out there last year on my Versys wishin' I had a dual sport more than once.

The Apache Trail east of Mesa, Arizona.

Damocles Consider the Shenandoah 500; first weekend in October!

Has a "traditional" route; plus an adventure route; the latter more big-bike friendly.
