BIGIRON Exactly. If I could only have one bike the rest of my life, it would be my 05 Rojo Grande.

I can't help but think...

...that there would be a lot more happy bikers if there were more KLR's or other "dual sports" on the road. I've ridden a lot of bikes and owned a few, but I really can't think of a bike I've had more fun on. Speed ain't my thing and the lean angle you can achieve on a KLR is absurd...man, I like me some twisties. I guess that has something to do with perception and seat height, but damn. And I don't even ride off road in any real sense of the term.

I was thinking on the ride in to work. It's kind of the perfect form vs. function argument. I like the way my KLR looks (now...stock, I thought it was fugly), but it can't hold a candle to my 73 Honda. But man is it fun to ride. I feel kind of bad for all those folks who dump so much money into "sexy" bikes that are uncomfortable, loud, etc.

I feel like I have become enlightened.
