They were even more surprised when I commented the I still had enough fuel to "turn around and do the entire route in Reverse, including the ride home"! 60-70 miles is a long day on an ATV. That is just the second or maybe third gallon of fuel for the KLR and I!

Well, my first ADV ride in a group (FRONT RANGE DUAL SPORT RIDERS) was a learning experience..Did a lot better then I thought I would but learned when they says small cc bike, knobbies, don't show up with a klr with saddle bags, tail bag and 80/20 tires. Had a blast and learned a lot!! I will be back better prepared.. Great group!
They all trailed motocross bikes with lights (wr250, 500ktm...) I thought to myself "oh no, what did I get into!!!"
It much steeper then it looks and it wasn't the worst!!!
