|Scott R Nelson||I like the IRC GP-110 for street riding. It gets great traction under all street conditions and it also works fairly well off road. It's not exactly the longest lasting tire out there, but nothing I ever put on my bikes is for some reason.|

Knobby 140's will probably rub a bit harder.

I am trying to find a set of the T63 Michelins for my bike, but everyone is sold out in the 130/80-17 KLR rear size. I called 5-6 websites that showed they had them in stock, but when the rep actually checked, they were out and backordered. This tire has a lot of good reviews and is pretty cheap, but they are unobtainium right now.
My mechanic at work tells me he is having a lot of trouble getting Michelin light truck tires right now too, so i guess they may be having some issues.

|screaminsal||Just my 2cents.... I found a motorcycle salvage shop close to my place. They have "NEW" used takeoffs cheap enuff that ive tried every trailwing, knobby, i could wear out in the last 9000 miles. I go through them quick cuz i prefer a knobby. Shinko or Kenda road tire might be good for you if yur mostly riding pavement. good luck......|

I've used Dunlop D606 on dual sports with good results. If you really need a knobby it's more agressive than the T-63. I usually got about 3K miles out of a rear.
Just noticed Motorcycle Superstore has got the T-63 on sale right now, cheaper than the D606.

I just got the Shinko 705's I only have about 100 miles on them so far, They feel great, I ride 90+% road so they should do good for me from what I have read from others.
Great price too
